We have news!
This past week, Flour Farm attended the Natural Products Expo West food show in Anaheim, CA. We met with foreign buyers from all over the globe: Europe, South East Asia, Taiwan, and Australia courtesy of WUSATA – the Western United States Agricultural Trade Association. For three days, we chatted with buyers, distributors, manufacturers, brokers and sales teams. It was an exciting, whirlwind adventure. We made some amazing connections, and learned a great deal. Everyone we met was more than gracious with their time, experience and feedback. Thank you to everyone at WUSATA who helped organize a fantastic inbound trade mission. We are grateful for the opportunities that continuously present themselves though WUSATA.
We also ate & drank our way through the Expo. We would like to send well wishes to some amazing companies: Hope Foods, UNFI, Lorissa’s Kitchen, GF Harvest, Lemi Shine, Siggis, Navitas Organics, Yes Cacao, Mother Dirt, Sauce Goddess, and Savory Choice – just to name a few. There were so many tasty products, it would take days to list them all. Note: we are not affiliated with the links provided.
We want to let you know about our participation in the upcoming outbound trade mission along with the Small Business Development Center of Eastern Washington to South Korea, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macao. Dave and I will also continue on to the Philippines, Thailand and Japan. We’re excited to meet with the companies in both the Philippines and Thailand that produce our coconut and tapioca flours. Integrity is important to us, and we want to see first hand where our products are sourced.
Finally, we received word today that our packaging will be sent to the blender this Friday. WOW! We will have flour available the beginning of April for all of you who have waited patiently. Thank you!!
Peace & LOVE – Teri
