Tiffany Smiley for US Senate
We, at Flour Farm, have been incredibly vocal in our support of small business – it’s what we “do”. Both Dave and I have been entrepreneurs and innovators for most of our lives. For us, there is no other way to make our way. For this reason, we want to rally around Tiffany Smiley. She is a lovely, strong, committed-to-change, no BS leader who we recently met through like minded friends. Not only is Mrs. Smiley PRO small business, but she is most importantly PRO FAMILY – it’s who we “are”.

Who is Tiffany Smiley and why do we need her?
Let us introduce you! Here’s a brief outline of her platform:
1) Supports Job Growth: “From aerospace to information technology, Washington is a leader of American’s 21st century economy. But growing up on a farm, I know Washington’s economy is more than multi-national corporations. Our diverse economy demands common-sense ideas and a commitment to problem solving for the good of our state.“
2) Supports Trade & Environment: “We need stronger trade policies like the USMCA that are fair to Washington’s businesses, workers and farmers. At the same time, we must continue regulatory reform and cooperation that ensures we protect our environment and grow our economy. This is critical for Washington’s future.”
3) Supports Education: “As the mother of three boys, I wake up every morning committed to passing on a brighter future to them. And that future begins with their education. Despite the best efforts of so many of our teachers, the past year of distance and remote learning has shown all of us the holes in our education system. We need to empower Washington families to choose the education that is best for their children. My boys, like your children and grandchildren, have unique talents and face individual challenges, and our education system must work to meet their needs so they can succeed in their futures. Failures in our education system trickle down to the problems we see every day on our streets. The homelessness, increased crime rates, drug addiction, and poverty in our communities is not something we can turn a blind eye to.”
4) Supports Veterans & Law Enforcement: “A suicide bomber in Iraq blinded my husband 16 years ago, but it opened our eyes to the failure of our federal government to protect and support our heroes in uniform…. Our troops on the frontlines, our veterans on the home front, and our first responders in our communities should be saluted for their sacrifices. I am committed to fighting for our local heroes and ensuring they receive the resources they need at every level of service, because our support is what they deserve.”

To come out and support a political candidate on our website may seem a bit extreme to some folks. We get it. These are trying and confusing times in the world of politics. Dave and I are fully dialed into current events and take the responsibility of carrying out our civic duties for the growth and safety of our children and community seriously. For this reason, we feel it is important to stand up for integrity and truth and to fully support those who exemplify these traits. We do what we can to walk the talk, and we challenge each reader to do the same. Where ever you live, raise your family, or hang your hat – educate yourself. Get involved. Encourage strong leaders to reach out and lift up society. We need them!
We support Tiffany Smiley, and wish her all the personal and professional happiness one life can hold. To read her inspirational story, click here.

I’m interested in your gf flour and wanted to know if it is sold in any local stores. We live in Oregon. I’m now restricted to a gluten free diet and flours I have tried so far I don’t really care for.
I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s attack in Iraq! I’m proud of you for fighting for him and that you now want to fight for our nation. It is so needed, with all that’s taking place in politics these days!!!
God bless you and your family, Tiffany!
Thank you! Dave and I think Tiffany Smiley is an amazing woman. You can purchase our flour in Oregon at New Seasons Market Chain of stores.
