So, our caterer friends shared their gluten free recipe and we are excited to pass on the yummy. This quiche recipe is crazy easy to make and crustless. Bonus! Before You Dive In – Prep:
- Bring eggs to room temperature
- Chop vegetables/meat to desired size
- Grate cheese
- Move oven rack to center
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 C)
- Prepare 9″ pie dish with non-stick spray/oil/butter
Choose Gluten Free, Non-GMO & Organic Ingredients.
Note: Ingredients are listed by volume as weight can vary.
- 4 Large Pasture Raised Eggs
- 1 C Sour Cream (about 8 oz)
- 1 C Mayonnaise, we prefer Sir Kensington (about 8 oz)
- 1 1/2 C Grated Cheese, use your favs! (about 6 oz)
- 5 C evenly chopped veggies and/or meat
- Salt and pepper to taste (we like to add Borsari seasoning salt)
Topping: Sprinkle cheese on the top if desired
Please read the prep note above before you begin, thank you!
Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk eggs.
Step 2: Add the sour cream and mayonnaise. Whisk until blended.
Step 3: Add cheese, vegetables and meat. Stir to combine. Season to taste.
Step 4: Pour into the prepared baking dish. Smooth out the top and sprinkle cheese on the top if using.
Step 5: Bake in the center of a preheated oven for 45-55 minutes. If the top starts to appear too brown, cover with foil. The quiche is done when a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 6: Remove quiche from the oven and cool on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Foundational Recipe: This recipe provides room for interpretation. Use your favorite cheeses, vegetables and meats. We have made this so many ways its crazy, but our favorite is ham, Jarlsberg & mozzarella, and broccoli. Yum!
